Project overview

Totems of the Immunity Age is a speculative interactive exhibition that explores the growing impact of digital misinformation and vaccine hesitancy.

Portrait poster with a red anatomical heart‑like form titled “The Weeping Wanderer,” on a distressed beige background.

Personal Context

My interest did not just come from its relevance but also from personal experience—I have seen very different attitudes towards vaccination between the United Kingdom and Singapore, including encountering a small anti-vaccination protest.

Research Insight

It made the issue feel less abstract and more shaped by culture, context and the information people are exposed to. From this, I identified a gap in existing gamified misinformation interventions, many of which still rely on the same 2D screen-based spaces where misinformation spreads in the first place.
