Headshot of Jo Morgan

I am truly honoured to join the University of Portsmouth as an Entrepreneur in Residence. As someone who has lived, studied, and worked in Portsmouth, I am passionate about giving back to the community that has shaped me. I look forward to supporting enterprising students, sharing my journey of building a mission-driven business, and helping to inspire the next generation of changemakers and inclusive leaders.

Jo Morgan, Founder and CEO

Jo Morgan is a multi-award-winning educator, speaker, author, and consultant, recognised as a leading voice in preventing workplace bullying, harassment, and sexual harassment, particularly within male-dominated industries. After spending 15 years in education, including a decade leading Relationships and Sex Education (RSE), Jo became nationally recognised for her work tackling misogyny, harmful sexual behaviours, and violence against women and girls. As demand for her expertise grew, she founded Engendering Change Ltd, where she now works full-time delivering training and consultancy across the UK.

Under Jo’s leadership, Engendering Change works with businesses, housing providers, schools, universities, and public sector organisations to strengthen professional standards, safeguarding, and workplace culture. Her specialist programmes help organisations operating in high-trust, high-risk environments move beyond tick-box compliance to create meaningful behavioural change and safer cultures.

In 2024, Jo published Empowering Relationships and Sex Education: A Practical Guide for Secondary School Teachers. Alongside her consultancy work, Jo continues to speak publicly on issues including misogyny, consent, pornography, online harms, and violence against women and girls.

Jo can offer particular expertise in:

  1. Social Impact Entrepreneurship
  2. Leadership in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
  3. Effective Public Speaking and Advocacy
  4. Innovative Educational Programme Design
  5. Thought Leadership and Influence Building
