Yes, all our activities happen on our city campus.
You will be given a campus map when you check into the event, or download our Open Day app to pre-plan your routes across campus.
Open days typically run from around 8.30am until 4.00pm, but start and end times may vary slightly for your course sessions. Be sure to check the guide webpage or Open Day app in advance so you don't miss out on anything.
You don’t need to book any of our Open Day activities, just turn up.
It’s a good idea to build your day around the course session you are most interested in studying with us. Simply arrive at the location of your talk when it's due to start.
Tours of accommodation and campus can be taken at any time between 9.30am - 4.00pm.
We encourage you to attend our open days and events with family members or friends so that your loved ones also get an opportunity to see campus and where you will be studying.
You are welcome to bring as many guests as you wish to our open days and events, however you do not need to book any additional tickets for them. For some of our busier sessions we may need to restrict the number of guests that each visitor can have accompanying them, although this will not affect the majority of activities.
Yes you’ll be able to meet current students studying at the University of Portsmouth.
They’ll be able to answer questions you might have about courses, life in Portsmouth and being part of our community, plus much more about the student experience.
You will be able to park in our University car parks free of charge at the event - but please be aware spaces fill up fast.
For the most sustainable way to visit us, use the dedicated Park and Ride service that drops you directly to our central check in.
Assistance dogs are welcome in all university-owned or managed spaces, including halls of residence. Other dogs, pets, or animals are not permitted on the premises.
