We See You: The Learning Journeys Behind Service Life
We See You is a University of Portsmouth institutional awareness initiative that supports greater understanding of Armed Forces, veteran, service-connected and Blue Light communities through education, dialogue, research and lived experience.
This event will explore the lived experiences of service life, with a particular focus on transition, identity, belonging and how these experiences can shape individuals over time, both during and beyond service.
Bringing together voices from military leadership, welfare, research, education and lived experience, the event offers an opportunity to deepen understanding of the opportunities and challenges associated with service-connected lives.
Through a range of perspectives, we aim to increase awareness, challenge assumptions and strengthen how institutions, organisations and communities recognise and respond to those connected to service.
