The University of Portsmouth has teamed up with HIVE Portsmouth to create Tax Return Tuesdays.
The events are a collaboration between students from Accountancy and Financial Management in the University’s Faculty of Business and Law and the team at HIVE Portsmouth. HIVE Portsmouth is a collective of organisations working together to support people address the many social factors that affect their health and wellbeing.
The events build on the valuable work that both organisations are doing to support local communities.
Sole-traders, social entrepreneurs and small enterprises will get the opportunity to complete their self assessment tax returns with support navigating the process, while enjoying the HIVE space, mince pies and free Wi-Fi.
Tax Return Tuesdays are held throughout November, December and January from 11am to 3pm on the Lower Ground Floor of the Central Library in Portsmouth.
If successful, the event will continue as a monthly drop-in and be called Tax Tuesdays.
Tax Return Tuesdays will be held from 11am to 3pm on 5, 12, 19, 26 November and 3, 10 December and 21 and 28 January.
