The next generation of young entrepreneurs will be promoting their businesses at the annual University of Portsmouth’s Enterprise Showcase on Thursday 14 March.

The Enterprise Showcase is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate some of the amazing entrepreneurial talents of students, graduates and staff at the University of Portsmouth.

The showcase will begin at 5.30pm in the University’s Portland building with the Start-up exhibition followed by a short awards ceremony to recognise the great enterprise achievements of students, graduates and staff in the last year.

The event will also feature successful entrepreneur Will King, founder of King of Shaves, Savage & King, The Entrepreneurs in Residence and King of Shades Shugs as the keynote speaker.

The event has been organised by the University’s start-up incubator ‘nest’, who support University students and recent graduates to develop their enterprise interests and talents, and to start commercial businesses and social enterprises.

We support a diverse range of businesses from catering to app development; social enterprises to commercial ventures; and freelancers to global businesses. Support includes one-to-one coaching, specialist start-up programmes and workshops, expert presentations, business funding advice and networking opportunities. Services are free to all University of Portsmouth students and alumni who have graduated in the last five years.
