Mrs Michelle Kane
Biography
I am an academic skills tutor within the faculty of Business and Law (BaL) working with Year 2 (Level 5) undergraduate students predominantly. I enjoy working with the students and helping them to attain their best results.
My research project for the PGCHE was about student community and engagement and I would be interested in future research in this area. In 2021 I was collaboratively involved in an article about the pandemic and how it affected higher education staff and students in the UK and Singapore. This year (2023) I have also co-written a book chapter on Crisis Leadership in UK higher education during and following the pandemic. The book is planned to be published in 2024.
