Summary

I’m a PhD researcher in the Department of Psychology at the University of Southampton, and a Sessional Teaching Fellow at the University of Portsmouth. My research is focused on identifying and implementing psychosocial interventions aimed at alleviating psychological distress and enhancing the wellbeing and quality of life for women affected by gynaecological cancers.

I have a particular passion for art-based interventions, including music, literature, and painting, and I strongly advocate for patient and public involvement in all aspects of research, ensuring that the voices of those impacted are heard and integrated into the research process. In parallel with my PhD journey, I am also pursuing Stage 2 Training as a Health Psychologist. This dual path allows me to effectively blend practical experience with advanced theoretical knowledge, enriching both my professional practice and research endeavours.

Research interests

  • Psycho-oncology and psycho-education
