Dr Eva Mikuska
Summary
I started my carrier as a geography teacher. At the beginning of the Yugoslav war, I came to live in the UK in 1992. After working in various early years settings, in 2005 I joined the UK FE and HE sector as a lecturer and researcher. Currently, am teaching on various programmes and modules, with the main focus on methodological approaches to research, professional educational practices, and other ECEC related topics.
Research interests
My research interest focuses on the quality education and care for young children, gender discourses in ECEC field, ethnicised minority rights for education, social inequality, and identity questions.
I am on the editoral borad for the following journals: International Journal of Qualitative Methods, Contemporary Issues in Early Childhood, Journal of Early Childhood Society and Norlad Educare Research Journal.
