Biography

After obtaining my BSc (Hons) and MRes, both in Forensic Science from the University of Derby, I then continued to complete a PhD in Forensic Entomology at the University of Portsmouth under the supervision of Dr Katherine Brown. This project explored decomposition and faunal succession in aquatic environments.

I now teach on the BSc Criminology and Forensic Studies and MSc Forensic Investigation courses, primarily covering forensic science, taphonomy, and entomology.

Research interests

My main research interests are taphonomy and entomology in aquatic environments.

I welcome applications from prospective PhD students.
