Applicant Experience Days
Help and advice
A quick note about A level exam cancellations and what it means for you
Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, A level exams in 2020 have been cancelled, but please don't worry. We're not going anywhere and you'll still be getting your A level and other exam results in the summer.
Right now, we're working with everyone involved – including UCAS, exam boards and the Government – to figure out how the admissions process will work for students who want to start in autumn 2020.
We'll work out a solution and once the situation becomes clearer, we'll be as excited as ever to welcome you to the University.
So for now, all you need to focus on is keeping up your hand hygiene and staying safe.
After we offer you a place on an undergraduate course we usually invite you to an Applicant Experience Day.
Unfortunately, we've cancelled our remaining Applicant Experience Days in 2020 because of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
Get a virtual experience
You can still get a virtual experience of the University and the city.
Have a peek at your accommodation options, read stories from our students, look around our facilities and discover Portsmouth's amazing food, shopping, sport and culture.
Courses with interviews
Some of our science and creative courses require you to attend an interview before we offer you a place.
Because of the Coronavirus outbreak, interviews will take place by phone or video call.
If you have an interview scheduled, we'll contact you to arrange this. Email us on email@example.com if you haven't heard from us.
