Important Application Deadlines
Applications for our September 2026 intake are now closed.
If you're planning to study with us in January 2027, there are key application dates and deadlines you should be aware of. These may vary depending on the country you're applying from and whether you're applying to study at our Portsmouth or London Campus. Deadlines for January 2027 Applicants
Applicants from Nigeria, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Palestine and Yemen
- Deadline for new applications: 2 November 2026
- Deadline for deposit payment: 16 November 2026
- Deadline to meet all other conditions: 23 November 2026
Applicants from Sri Lanka, Nepal, Ghana, Uganda, Vietnam and Kenya (Eldoret only)
- Deadline for new applications: 16 November 2026
- Deadline for deposit payment: 30 November 2026
- Deadline to meet all other conditions: 7 December 2026
Applicants from India and Kenya

Please note that no late registration will be permitted for applicants to the London Campus.

Please note that applicants requiring a CAS must ensure they have met all conditions and provided all required documentation by the relevant deadlines. No late registration will be permitted for January 2027 entry at the London Campus.
The following key dates apply to students joining the University of Portsmouth in January 2027, including both the Portsmouth and London campuses.
- Registration Opens: 11 January 2027
- Orientation Week: Commencing 11 January 2027
- Induction Week: Commencing 11 January 2027
- First Day of Teaching: 18 January 2027
Students are encouraged to complete registration as soon as possible and attend Orientation and Induction activities to help them settle into university life and prepare for the start of their course. Further information will be provided to applicants closer to the start of the intake.
We recommend paying the deposit and meeting conditions as soon as you receive the offer to avoid potential delays with CAS and Visa processes. Please see ways to pay, and ensure there is plenty of time for your deposit payment to clear.
Please note that courses may close before the published deadlines if they become full, so you should aim to meet your conditions as soon as possible. Applications submitted after the published deadlines may be offered admission to the next available intake instead.
