Biography

Sasha Barron is a Senior Lecturer in Chinese Language and area studies, Sasha has been teaching Chinese language, Professional communication and both Eastern and Western Music for more than twenty years in the UK.

She is the Chinese Language Coordinator, Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

She teaches all levels of Chinese language, Language Learning and Teaching and Professional communication. 

She is a Member of ICLTS (International Chinese Language and Teaching Society),世界汉语协会会员

 Member of BCLTS (British Chinese Language Teaching Society) 英国汉语教学协会会员

In 2015, the Students Union of University of Portsmouth awarded Sasha the first prize for being  “The most Innovative Teacher”.

 

Teaching Areas:

Chinese Language at all levels within the BA degree course framework. (Level 4, 5 and 6).

Language Project: Introduction to Chinese studies contemporary China.

Language for Professional Communication 1 & 2.  

Language Learning and Teaching ( Trinity College of London certificate)
