Mrs Emma Winter
Biography
I initially joined the Faculty of Business and Law as an hourly paid lecturer in February 2001, following several years' experience working in operations and marketing in the financial services industry. I was appointed as a senior lecturer in September 2007 and to principal lecturer in October 2014.
As the Faculty of Business and Law Learning and Teaching lead my role is to enthuse and support staff to ensure we are providing all of our students with a positive learning experience. I work together with academic and support staff both within the faculty and across different faculties and departments, to develop and implement various initiatives related to curriculum design and delivery. This means I can look to ensure we are consistently providing all of our Business and Law students with a vibrant and engaging student experience, as well as supporting colleagues to enhance their own pedagogic practice.
