To pursue a career in architecture, I need to complete this course so I can progress with my training.

I wanted to explore the design world at a higher level. This qualification gives me the opportunity to research and develop a personal project under the guidance of qualified tutors.

The facilities are great and available in proximity to our studio spaces. Day-to-day would consist of research towards my passion for parametric design and tools. I like to develop my ideas through three-dimensional explorations that allow me to understand a project much better.

The course offers unique complexity and freedom with regards to the personal approach to design and the construction industry. The location and type of university have certainly contributed to the academic experience. The research produced within the University has a global impact and allows researchers to collaborate with academic institutions and private bodies to better the current knowledge framework.

Mircea Iustin Dobrean, MA Architecture

The University have offered numerous solutions to help shape me as a professional individual which has the preparation required to tackle the construction industry. Academically, staff have been incredibly useful to help develop my interests and hobbies, and channel them into my future.

The University have been incredibly supportive of my personal circumstances and understanding of me. They have helped support me with equipment and funding and help with housing issues in more difficult times.

As a result of studying here I have achieved an incredible amount of knowledge and personal life experience. The employment opportunities in the professional field have all been through the University recruitment offers and have all been positive experiences.

I’ve learnt how to be a professional, what it means to collaborate with the local community - and the importance of it - and how to take steps to prevent and mitigate the risks of climate change.

Next I want to finish my studies and secure a work placement which can certify my qualification and provide the necessary training to develop as a professional and qualified architect.
