Established in 1854, New Theatre Royal is a historic Portsmouth gem that stands the test of time.
The Victorian auditorium has a classical stage performance setting that borders our White Swan Building and facilities. It also offers a range of shows and performances, throughout the year, from external companies and our Drama and Musical Theatre students.
Thanks to the University's strong relationship with New Theatre Royal, students can get first-hand experience of working in a professional theatre environment.
