Organisation Studies and Human Resource Management Subject Group
This subject group delivers exceptional teaching and research across all the major topics within the fields of organisation studies and human resource management. Our degree courses are accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and we share strong links with the Higher Education Academy.
Our lecturers and academics have extensive experience within industry and academia. Across the subject group, we have expertise in every aspect of human resource management – including human resource development, employment relations, corporate social responsibility, ethics, coaching, leadership and managing change.
Practical experience is an integral part of our teaching, and our students graduate with the ability to apply their skills within the industry. In the 2015/2016 Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) survey, 100% of our students went on to further study or work within 6 months of graduating.
Our group has an international reach, and we've made significant impacts in the delivery of specialist HR education in places like Hong Kong, Turkey, Greece, the Cayman Islands, Malaysia and Guernsey.
