Flexible postgrad start dates
At Portsmouth, you can start a number of Master’s courses throughout the year. That means you can boost your skills and career prospects on a timescale that suits you.
Many of our Master’s courses offer alternative intakes in January, May and July.
Flexible PhD study
Our PhD, MPhil and MD programmes start in February, April and October, and many can be studied part time or via distance learning.

Learning at Work courses and Degree Apprenticeships integrate your studies with your career.
Degree Apprenticeships are Government supported schemes which means you don’t pay any tuition fees. So you can get a university degree and a salary, without worrying about loan repayments.
Learning at Work degrees are embedded within your organisation so you’ll tailor your projects to meet yours and your employer’s objectives.
