What Happens Next?

Get ready for the start of term - get your funding and accommodation sorted.

Get yourself organised ready for the start of term

Once you've finished applying for your Master's course, our admissions team will assess your application. You'll usually get a decision within 10 working days, so you shouldn't have to wait too long. Some courses have an interview stage – we'll let you know if you need to prepare for one.

There's plenty you can do to prepare for your studies between submitting your Master's application and receiving our decision. Here are a few important things to think about.

Your Master's funding

Get the ball rolling early – plan how much it's going to cost and what you need to budget for, find out how to apply for our Master's Scholarship and explore other funding options.

Your accommodation

Once we've accepted your application, we'll send you the information you need to arrange your accommodation – in the meantime, explore our halls of residence and find out about private renting in the city.

Withdrawing your application

If you'd like to withdraw your application, email with your name and the course you applied for, and they can withdraw you.

Course suspensions and closures

Occasionally, we have to suspend or close a course. If a course you’ve applied for doesn’t run, we’ll let you know as soon as possible and help you choose an alternative course.

Feedback and appeals

To get feedback on an unsuccessful application, email with your name and the course you applied for. We’ll get back to you within 5 working days.
