How to apply
Studying while working
Contact us if you're interested in doing a Learning at Work course, and we'll work with you to identify a programme of study tailored to your aspirations and work objectives. We'll also make sure your learning supports your employer's business.
You need to be employed or self-employed in a full-time, part-time or voluntary role throughout your studies. Internships are acceptable assuming the internship lasts for the duration of the course. The only exception is the PgCert in Occupational Health & Safety Management where learners don't need to be in work.
When you get in touch, we'll ask you about your previous qualifications and experience and let you know if you can use this as credit towards your degree so you can complete it quicker. We may ask you to attend an interview in person or via Skype.
What you need before you start
Courses start in September or January. You'll need to do the following at least 4 weeks before the start of your course:
- click on the apply now on your chosen course page and complete the online application form
- upload evidence of your qualifications
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) portfolio
If you're using previous qualifications and experience as credit towards your degree, we may need you to complete a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) portfolio. You'll need to submit this at least 8 weeks before the start of the course.
