Alumni events are designed to help you stay connected in the University community, enhance your career and expand your knowledge long after you graduate.
Opportunities include career-enhancing workshops, provocative panel discussions, global network gatherings, class reunions and anniversary celebrations.
All the events are an opportunity to network and establish mutually beneficial relationships with other alumni.
We love welcoming alumni to campus and special events. For the time being, due to the pandemic, alumni events will be delivered online.
Come alone or bring a friend. A warm welcome awaits you.
Whether you live locally or abroad, we can help you rekindle friendships with former classmates and celebrate your student years.
From casual catch-ups to milestone celebrations – let us help you create a memorable reunion tailored to your needs.
We can work with you to:
- Track down former classmates
- Publicise your event
- Select the perfect location
- Find places of interest to visit with classmates
Once you're ready, email firstname.lastname@example.org and let's get started.
Connect with classmates at an alumni reunion.
The annual Chancellor's Dinner is a prestigious event where alumni mix and mingle with University leadership, along with industry and community VIPs.
In 2019, Chancellor Karen Blackett OBE invited three special guests to join her in Portsmouth: comedian and co-founder of Comic Relief, Sir Lenny Henry CBE; founder of the MOBO Awards, Kanya King CBE; and technology entrepreneur, Tom Ilube CBE.

Summer anniversary events will be held in Portsmouth every 2 years. The first event should be held in 2021. Watch out for your invitation. Make sure your contact information is up to date.
There'll be lectures, campus tours, and facility demos along with special receptions and class reunions. Join old friends and classmates to reminisce about your uni days, visit old haunts around Portsmouth, and rediscover your University.
At alumni networking events, you'll connect with fellow graduates, academic experts, business professionals and community leaders. More than a ticket holder, you're a valued participant at these events.
Come along and be inspired by alumni who are making waves in Portsmouth and beyond and to meet the bright minds coming out of the University.
Talks, panels and debates
As a graduate, you're invited to a wide range of public and private events that feature compelling speakers on topics that matter to you.
Make sure to keep your details up to date and keep an eye on the alumni newsletter for exclusive event offerings.
