Join us on campus as we celebrate their residential experiences, complete with traditional cap throwing!

You'll join us in a lecture theatre to look back on some of the amazing things that happened at Residential 2025.

Celebration Ceremony at Portsmouth

Date: Tuesday 1 July 2025

Location: Eldon Building, Southsea, Portsmouth PO1 2DJ

Time: 5.00pm-6.30pm

Pay and Display parking is available (see travel details below).

Light refreshments will be on offer

All students will be able to leave from 6.30pm once they have collected their belongings. This may take some time, so please allow plenty of time if you require public transport.

It is expected that all students have at least one adult attend the event. No student will be able to leave the event by themselves.

Parking in the city

If you choose to drive, please note that we can only offer pay and display parking in select car parks on campus. For the celebration ceremony this will be our Eldon car park. But there are lots of public transport options and car parking available via the Ringo app around the city, particularly around the city centre. There's more information about city centre car parking on the Portsmouth City Council website.

Trains

The closest station to Eldon is Portsmouth and Southsea it's just under a 10 minute walk. Plan your train journey to Portsmouth on the National Rail website.
