Biography

joined the School of Languages and Area Studies in September 2015 having taught Spanish in various educational institutions both here in the UK and in Spain. At the School of Languages and Area Studies I teach Spanish language classes at all undergraduate levels and as part of the University’s Institution Wide Language Programme (IWLP). I am also Study Abroad Link Tutor for Erasmus exchanges with the Universities of Salamanca and Murcia, Year Abroad Work Placement Coordinator for Spanish speaking countries and personal tutor to incoming Erasmus students. Teaching Responsibilities.

Research interests

My interests include Spanish language teaching and teacher training, teaching and learning, the design of didactic materials for the language class, translation, bilingualism and the role of translation in second language acquisition.
