Summary

My interests in economics are currently in labour market economics and economic policy.  I have published in leading international journals including Oxford Economic Papers and Oxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics on labour market economics, including the economic returns to beauty and the determinants of occupational attainment.

My research has been extensively cited in papers on human capital and labour market attainment. My work on beauty has nearly 400 citations in google scholar and has been widely covered by media around the world, including in the UK by the BBC, Financial Times and the Economist. In my current role my focus is on developing learning and teaching
