Volunteers required! 3 hours library time on Friday 3 May - £50 cash in return!

3 min read

We have an opportunity for you to swap 3 hours of your time for £50 cash!

It’s entirely voluntary, and although UoP sponsors it, your participation has no bearing on your studies.

Your participation will be completely anonymous.

However you should have no experience or knowledge in Security Risk Management.

The research (which is for a fellow student completing a Prof Doc) will be conducted as a 3 hours block on Friday 3 May 2024 at the University Library. It’s all indoors, so you only need to bring your brain!

What will participants be doing?

You’ll simply need to turn up on time and access a few online tools to complete 3 activities. The first is a short survey, the second is a chunky piece of analytical thinking which involves some reading and decision-making, and the third is a short survey again. You may then be asked to join a small focus group to contribute to a discussion about the morning’s activities. Sounds easy right? Once your activities are completed, you’ll receive your token of thanks.

No compensation or reimbursement for travel, parking or accommodation will be offered, so please only apply if you are prepared to get yourself to the University Library.

Duration

Maximum of 3 hours, either in the morning, 10.00am to 1.00pm or in the afternoon, 2.00pm to 5.00pm.
