Biography
I am a marine biologist (macroalgal taxonomist by training), interested in the effects of climate change on adaptation, acclimatization capacity and physiological response of calcareous marine organisms. I did my PhD at the University of Pisa on the carbon acquisition mechanisms in coralline algae. I have since spent 5 years working on Climate change effects on calcifying organisms at Geomar (Germany) and Bristol University before moving to Portsmouth.
